This unique profession combines artistic skill with a thirst for technology. A wide variety of careers await the trained photographer, including photojournalism, wedding and lifecycle celebration photography, crime scene reporting, and advertising photography. Most photography courses cover the basics of exposure, composition and depth of field. In addition, you will learn darkroom techniques. In today's wired world, a course in digital photography and in desktop publishing / image editing programs is indispensible.
