Although the growth in the visual entertainment industry and the Internet has created a demand for skilled computer animation professionals, it is still the case that there are more people wanting this kind of job than there are jobs available.


So naturally employers will cherry pick job applicants with the best qualifications. A degree program in computer animation will cover subjects such as 2d and 3d animation techniques, life drawing, human motion, and working with audio and visual material in an animation context.

A degree can’t give you inborn artistic talent, but it is something you will want to consider when you are trying to compete for those scarce computer animation jobs.
