Creating unique examples of high fashion is not the only thing you can do if you work in fashion design. Apparel design, generally creating stylish and affordable clothing for large scale production, is a key provider of fashion design jobs.


Fashion design and apparel design professionals are usually degree holders who have acquired advanced know how in both the artistic and commercial aspects of design. Specialized courses in apparel design focus on the techniques required for mass produced garments.

As employers will expect you to have a bachelor’s degree that is something you should consider if you plan a career in fashion design or apparel design.
