It is surprising how many websites there are out there, and how few people know how to manage them. Web administration is a job that has grown in demand over the last decade. Online retailers today have whole teams of web administrators and managers to make sure their sites are running smoothly all of the time. Because leaving a website is just one mouse-click away, a person’s user experience on a retail site has to be flawless, or else the online store might lose that person forever. This is why web administration is so important. Outside of retail websites, web administration is also needed for other types of sites, such as government and non-profit sites.
